Social Studies Endorsement

The Social Studies endorsement is offered in collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) on the WSU Vancouver campus and involves 63 hours of coursework. Students pursuing this endorsement have the option of working with CLA to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. Applicants may request a transcript evaluation to assess whether courses taken at prior colleges may be considered equivalent courses to the WSU endorsement courses. Students should confer with a faculty advisor each semester to ensure the timely completion of endorsement coursework. The endorsement in Social Studies authorizes assignment in anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology, or sociology.
