Master in Teaching with Secondary Certification Course/Program Requirements
A minimum of 29 semester credits of course work and 12 semester credits of field experience is required to complete the Master in Teaching Secondary program (PDF). Full time students complete the certification portion of the program in 18 months. Two additional courses, which may be completed on the student's time line, will complete the master's degree. Students may request consideration for a part time program. Courses are offered in the afternoon and evening, with field experiences/practicum occurring in the daytime only.
