English/Language Arts Endorsement

The English/Language Arts endorsement is offered in collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) on the WSU Vancouver campus and involves 42 hours of coursework. Students pursuing this endorsement have the option of working with CLA to also receive a Bachelor of Arts in English. The endorsement in English Language/Arts authorizes assignment in English, Drama, Journalism, and Speech. Applicants may request a transcript evaluation to assess whether courses taken at prior colleges may be considered equivalent courses to the WSU endorsement courses. Course offerings in the required core at Vancouver diverge somewhat from the Pullman offerings outlined below. Students should confer with a faculty advisor each semester to ensure the timely completion of endorsement coursework.
