English Language Learners Endorsement

The English Language Learners (ELL) endorsement is offered in the Education department on the WSU Vancouver campus. The endorsement consists of 5 required courses plus one elective class for a total of 18 credits. Students pursuing this endorsement have the option to take some of the classes online through WSU Online. Check the WSU Online schedule for available online options.

• T&L 514 Methods & Materials for Bulingual/ESL Education
• T&L 509 Curriculum & Assessment for Bilingual/ESL Education
• T&L 510 Theoretical Foundations of Bilingual/ESL Education
• T&L 549 Communicating in a Multilingual Society

• T&L 504 Linguistics for Teachers (recommended choice)
• T&L 512 Language and Cultural Factors in Mathematics
• T&L 537 Seminar in Language, Literacy and Culture
• T&L 580 Multicultural Education in a Global Society
